Animation Mentor - Class 2 - Week 6

This week we had to do a second round of blocking. I went ahead and started smoothing my animation. Working with a more complex character is hard. This Stewie has no arms but it was a lot of work to get this smoothed. The second half of the animation is still looking a little floaty.

This week we had to do a pass of blocking of our assignment. As you can guess from my planning, this week's character is Stwie with No Arms. :-)

Here is the first pass at blocking. I kept it too close to the reference and I'm gonna have to push the poses a little bit more.

I haven't written for a while... AM and work had me really busy.

The assignment for this week was to polish our kick. So here is the final polished rendered kick.



In addition we also had to have a final video reference done for my pole jumping assignment. I edited a couple of my shots together to get this clip.



I also created an animatic for this class as well out of my thumbnails. This one came out to be super wide... so here it is as a link.
